Our Heritage
Founded by John O. Todd, Sr. in 1957, The Todd Organization is an innovative leader in the executive benefits field. In the mid-1960’s, Mr. Todd instituted an executive benefits program at General Electric that was financed with corporate-owned life insurance. This is believed to have been the first time that a large public company instituted such a plan.
The Todd Organization expanded from its former headquarters in Chicago to establish operations in New York, Pittsburgh, St. Louis, Richmond, Greensboro, and several other cities. It served both public and private companies in many industries throughout the United States.
Institutional Investor, in a 1992 article reviewing major financial innovations over the preceding 25 years, discussed Todd’s creative work in proliferating non-qualified pension plans from the period 1977-81.
With offices across the country, The Todd Organization serves executives and companies from many industries, with more than 500 plans.
The firm continues to find innovative ways to address its clients’ challenges and anticipate changes in the regulatory and financial landscape.- Locate Consultant by State:
