Scott Sernett joined The Todd Organization in 2005. He started his career with the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 1996, serving physicians, closely held business owners, and other professionals in the areas of risk management, wealth accumulation, and business succession planning.

Scott earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Northern Iowa, and his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations from the American College.

Scott is a member of the Million Dollar Roundtable (MDRT), Physicians Nationwide, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU), and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).

Scott is actively involved with Junior Achievement, NAIFA’s Young Advisors Team, the University of Northern Iowa Panther Scholarship Club, and the Witness Council at St. Stephen’s Catholic Student Center.

Scott and his wife Meg have two children: a daughter Taylor, and a son Benjamin. Scott enjoys reading, exercising, traveling, golf, and umpiring high school baseball.
