As an Executive Benefits Consultant with The Todd Organization, Mike has over 30 years of experience in providing creative and innovative benefits solutions for companies. Mike consults with companies to design and manage supplemental executive benefit plans that build shareholder value by attracting, retaining and rewarding key executives and managers.
 
Mike serves as President and Chairman of The Todd Organization.  He recently served as the President of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting (AALU). He has been very active on Capitol Hill and at the U.S. Treasury Department in discussing the positive role that non-qualified retirement plans have in promoting savings and capital formation.  

Following Enron’s collapse, Mike helped convince Members of Congress to amend new regulations on Non-Qualified Plans to provide clarity for plan sponsors, more liquidity and security, and eliminate abusive practices. These new measures became law in 2004. Mike also helped develop a legislative proposal that provides guidance for best practices with Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI).

Mike has spoken recently at the national conferences of the International Forum, the AALU, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Institute of International Research. He has written articles on executive benefits that have appeared in publications such as The Journal of Compensation and Benefits and The Journal of Taxation of Employee Benefits.
